I am getting a weird feeling these days. I had been criticising political parties for their criminal and corrupt activities, their closeness to Ambani, Adani for their interest and commission in lieu, their anti people acts, them looting our national wealth and making MNCs too join in this loot for more money! Comparing Congress and BJP who have same economic and foreign policies and are equally corrupt and help each other, like retaining Vadra’s privileges in lieu of letting Modi off hook for his role in 2002 riots, even having known all his crimes through CBI! ETC!!! What is the outcome? AAP did well by managing 1 Crore votes, approx. 2 % of polled but failed to break the cycle of corrupt and criminal rulers; that is by Congress, BJP or Third Front! Big corporates retained their hold on state and its machinery in 1977 and now as well. Few big names like Anna or even Ramdev, Kiran Bedi etc were “incorporated” in the present system and whole system of exploitation, loot continues. Revolutionary flame does not wait for any society, like CB clouds’ it did come spontaneously, may be with the help of some organisations like IAC, retained a bit by AAP but lost its bearing, or was made to do so by huge, huge propaganda by the controlled media, foreign agencies and our own corrupt parties who combined to stop the rise of mass and succeeded a bit. Only time will tell, how much AAP is able to retain the anger of mass!! So what is my weird feeling? Is it possible to do a revolution from within the system with the tools of system to change it, forget about annihilating the rotten system? Yes, I know all the fight to change has to be done within the system, but with same parliament, police, judiciary existing? Remember the case of Allende of Chile? He did succeed in forming the government through election but in less than 3 years, US executed coup de tat through military because of his pro people activity, which was causing huge loss or reduced profit to US companies!! But is this not India? What great difference we have? We are bigger and ‘democratic’? Yes, this is my dilemma! AAP formed government in Delhi but could not control the state machinery as they were with old system, though, it still did many good things to us, like electricity, water, etc! At India level? Things may not be much different, or may be tougher. So, will the political revolution succeed with old machinery existing, opposing people’s movement and even if government is formed, will it be allowed to function as it will like to be? Political assassinations are not common in India but in special cases it may happen, even military take over possible to thwart the existing control over natural wealth, market and public property by big corporates and MNCs! So should we change our revolutionary strategy?
I wish to start with my own article- http://www.hastakshep.com/english/opinion/2014/03/17/anna-supports-mamta-fall-of-anna#.U4gOV2brZy0 (Anna supports Mamta, Fall of Anna)
And now: – Anna praises Modi government, says Kejriwal got ‘carried away’! http://indianexpress.com/article/india/politics/anna-praises-modi-govt-says-kejriwal-got-carried-away/
Looking back, Anna always harmed AAP. Remember, his tirade against AK and AAP just few days before Delhi VS election, where he said, ‘donation money’ was with AK and he has not settled the account yet? That was absolutely false and media, BJP, Congress utilised that statement maximum to belittle the mass movement.
Later he supported Mamta Banerjee as PM candidate, which I have elaborated in the above quoted article, but Anna backtracked sooner than later, probably on the advice of his inner circle who were closely working with BJP and corporates, like VK Singh, Kiran Bedi etc. as Mamta’s rise was likely to harm Modi more than AK!
Now when AAP needs maximum support and favourable situation to revive its cadres’ morale, strengthen party’s organisation, philosophies before the next election, regain people’s faith; the corporates’ advisors thought it necessary to attack Arvind Kejriwal at this crucial point, so that his party’s capabilities to revive is demolished and corporates’ control over the government and our natural wealth, market remains unchallenged! Anna obliged!!
In the final analysis, Anna, even if he did not plan to support the RSS plot to capture power with the help of our corporate and foreign investors but surely now he is supporting their move consciously. I quote AK “Anna is misadvised”; is wrong, we must understand that Anna Hazare is not a child, he has seen enough politics and is responsible as a mass leader whatever he says or does! Whatever, his action is harming people’s unity against corporates’ assisted corrupt system!
Sounds harsh for most of the JLPB movement supporters, but revolution, a serious business for the people, demands concrete analysis of concrete situation for its success and there is nothing like being harsh to distractive move!
Anna has deserted the mass movement and helped degrade the rare chance of India to be free of corruption, crime, unemployment after 1974-77 rise! AAP and its leader AK, youths, volunteers must understand this big vicious circle of RSS, corporates, imperialists and BJP, Congress to loot the people. Greatest leaders in the past have ditched mass movement world over for various reasons like commission, lack of understanding of revolution, politics, economy, unable to resist greed of becoming darling of corporates’ media(memory of Anna writing to Rajnath Singh, seeking his help to erect his own statue in UP is fresh), or whatever they may be! They must be dumped as soon as possible to save the scatterings of the revolutionary flame!
AAP leaders are repeatedly attacked by goons in recent past and such attacks have increased as election is nearing! Some of the Twitter of fans of Modi and naturally RSS followers on attack on Arvind Kejriwal are as 1 Nitish Kumar Diwakar @NitishDiwakar Today Arvind Kejriwal was slapped. Today’s Slap was more realistic and better choreographed then earlier one .#SlappedAgain 2. An outlaw @Great_Gujarati #SlappedAgain haaaa. Rubbing salt into the wounds LOL ! Timesnow is a piece ! 3. Manish Pant @manishpant It seems people have now understand the meaning of धरना thats why they are roghty doing धरना कान के नीचे। #SlappedAgain 4. Strange: Yuvi don’t play well one day we pelt stones at his house; a Neta don’t do anything for 49 days we slap him just once. #SlappedAgain 5. TIMES NOW @timesnow An auto rickshaw driver allegedly slapped AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal in north west Delhi #SlappedAgain pic.twitter.com/oWnWkEQrWG There are 1000s of them, where one can gaze the standard of low language and glee. Even media like Times Now joins the chorus (Read the last Twit). Some of them are so abusive that they cannot be reproduced here. Such and filthier comments are on FB and other social media also! Many questions arise here. Even though our country does not have people’s democracy (Otherwise how does one justify more than 8 Crore homeless destitute and 10 Crore child labours with enough wealth to feed them for decades), such acts do not commensurate with our tradition. Are such acts of violence on social media or in fields spontaneous or engineered? Many of us may not remember, in previous election, when India Shining flopped, the goons of RSS and BJP thrashed people on roads in Bihar, elsewhere and even manhandled common man openly as they thought ‘their victory’ was sure. Did not Bala Sahib Thakre show his anger when few of SS goons were arrested and criticised his own government by saying what’s the benefit of having own government?? Something is very funny. Congress and other parties are very corrupt and work for big corporates like Ambani, yet when they are on verge of getting victory or when they are in power, such open fascism is not common. What is difference in BJP/RSS and others? Once they sense power, their behaviours is that of low level street urchins! Top leaders deny that these goons are from their party or may even support them like in case of Amit Shah, who openly advocated revenge of Jats’ murder in Muzaffarnagar riot!!!!!!!! Yes, these goons are trained by RSS and they follow RSS culture of violence and low level acts on social media and in fields and they are paid for such acts and our judiciary system fails to punish them due its failure to provide justice to common man! What is reaction of middle class intelligentsia? Some of these pseudo ‘thinkers’ are for big corporates in name of freedom of market, freedom of speech and few of them for so called ‘Hindu Rashtra’ being panacea. BJP is alternate of Congress, who openly support big corporates, MNCs, FDI and hence becomes adorable for some of middle class as well, especially in urban cities. This culture of power and vandalism has not only developed in India but in entire 3rd world countries and even in some developed countries. The chain of power and money percolates from the top big corporates to street goons via politicians and bureaucrats, works well to control the vast majority of people and during the rise of people works to divide them on religious, caste and regional line! Such acts, except few, are planned, paid and executed. How effective are these to demoralise the opposition or even turn away the supporters from the victim? As per me, these acts only help them to keep their own goons with them and is not likely to deter the vast majority of population to stop supporting their party, just because some anti-social elements have attacked their leaders. However, it’s not the mass, which can comprehend this phenomenon holistically, but has to be understood by the leaders who wish to lead the revolution and then educate and lead the mass in right direction! Hope this movement of AAP, since Anna’s movement for JLPB, learns enough lessons to counter such fascistic and anti-democratic peculiarity of our society, of corrupt, criminal parties, whose base lies in economy, funded by big corporates to control the mass and continue exploiting them without much hindrance!!
